What is the Sylvan FOA?
The FOA is an affiliation of informed, independent Sylvan franchise owners. Our mission is to unite and create an environment whereby franchisees work with Sylvan management to increase net worth. We are committed to working together to help ensure franchisee success, profitability, and access to vital information that affects us as business owners.
What is the role of the FOA board?
The Sylvan FOA board is a group of elected members that volunteer their time to help build a better Sylvan system. The Sylvan FOA executive board meets weekly by phone to discuss any immediate issues and upcoming tasks. The entire FOA board meets monthly to discuss the health of the system, franchisee concerns, action items, and committee updates. Individual board members serve in a variety of capacities including but not limited to overseeing lunch and learns, community calls, membership, NAC voting member, etc… The FOA Sylvan board is only able to do what it does through the support of our membership.
Why is important for you to become a member of your franchise organization?
